This fluffy chocolate marble cake recipe is a fluffier and lighter version of a traditional marble cake. It simply uses less butter. (Traditional marble chocolate cake recipe -->) Double the portion to make are full-size cake.
Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter (110 grams)
- 100 grams flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 eggs (medium)
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Steps to make Fluffy Chocolate Marble Cake:
- Firstly, preheat oven to 375 F and butter the baking tin.
- In a large bowl mix butter and sugar till light and creamy.
- Then, slowly add in the eggs in one by one keep the mixture creamy.
- Then add in vanilla and milk, and set aside.
- In another bowl, sift flour with baking powder. And then slowly fold in the flour into the butter mixture.
- Next, take out half of the batter and fold in the sifted cocoa powder.
- Then pour the vanilla and cocoa powder batter alternatively into the baking tin, then take a fork or butter knife and swirl the mixture a few times to create a marbled effect.
- Finally, make sure to lightly drop the baking tin couple of times on the counter or table to even out the batter.
- Then bake the cake for 30-45 mins until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool the cake on rack. Ready Eat!
